What is a KC? The KC's (Kids Counselor) and Teachers are the leaders of all the Family Fest camp youth programs. These camps could not happen without the incredible work and dedication of our high school and college age KC’s and Teachers. As leaders you are role models for kids age three months to 15 years. In addition, you will work together in teams to run a fun, nurturing program that teaches about Jesus through stories games, arts and crafts, music, etc. . . If you are interested in making a positive impact on younger kids, as you also grow in your own faith, we would love for you to consider being a KC “Kid’s Counselor” or a Teacher at Family Fest’s Summer Splash Family Camp in August or at our Winter Weekend Family Camps in January and February. *Teachers are selected from our college and young adult leaders. |

How to Apply To Apply to be a KC or Teacher, click on the registration thumbnail below. This will take you to the online application page. We encourage you to fill this out thoughtfully and carefully. You will also need to download and print the medical release form that is linked to the registration page. KC applicants must be a 9th grader or older. Priority will go to applicants whose families register by November 15th. The cost to be a KC is $95. If you need help with this you can contact Pete Larson regarding the Randy Willmert/Bobo Burns Memorial KC Scholarship. You will be notified by email regarding acceptance to the Winter WeekendKC program. The number of KC's needed will depend on how many families with kids sign up. 9th grade applicants will be placed in the 7th-9th grade or high school program (February only). Some 9th graders may be accepted at KC's based upon need and application. |

Winter Weekend KC Application Note: We are now full and will not be able to take new KC applications at this time for either weekend unless your family is coming to camp. If you would like to be on a waiting list, please go ahead and fill out the online application, but you do not have to fill out the med form or send a check at this time.

Read the statement below and click "I Agree" and you will be taken to Step Three, which is the online KC application.
I understand that being a KC is an honor and privilege and really, really fun! I know that Family Fest is looking for young people who are serious about their journey of faith, who love kids, and who have a desire to grow in their own personal relationship with Christ.
As a Family Fest KC I have a desire to strengthen my faith and to grow spiritually. I promise to share my life in Christ by example and by word with campers, families and other KC's. I am entering into this KC job responsibility with a positive and supportive attitude. I promise to sacrifice personal desires in the interest of campers and their peers. I will model what it means to be a Christian by the choices I make, including not using bad language, drugs or alcohol. I will be a positive role model. I have prayerful considered my role as a KC and believe that I am a good candidate.
