The Family Fest camps could not happen without the incredible work and dedication of our high school and college age KC’s and Teachers. They are role models for kids age three months to 14 years. In addition, they work together in teams to run a fun, nurturing program that teaches about Jesus through stories games, arts and crafts, music, etc. . .
If you are interested in making a positive impact on younger kids, as you also grow in your own faith then we would love for you to consider being a KC “Kid’s Counselor” or a Teacher at Family Fest’s Summer Splash Family Camp in August or at our Winter Weekend Family Camps in January and February.
If you are a 9th grader (fall of 2008/09) or older and would like to apply to be a KC, or Teacher*, please fill out the online application by clicking KC/Teacher Application Winter Weekend(see below). KC's whose families are coming to camp and who register by December 15th will have first priority. If a KC's family registers after all spots are filled, they will have to pay the normal camp fee.
Cost for Winter Weekend: $65.00. We charge this amount to help keep up with our rising costs of lodging and transportation. Our goal is to be able to take as many KC’s/Teachers as possible. If this is a hardship for you, please call us and we will work it out.
If you have questions regarding KC’s or Teachers, please email our KC Coordinators, Paul or Barb Harmon harmon@familyfestministries.org or call at 952-942-0779.
*Teachers are selected from our college and young adult leaders. |

If you are a student in grades 9-12 and your family is planning on coming to Winter Weekend, we encourage you to sign up for our February week where we have a special program called Oasis. Oasis participants will have priority to be KC's at our January weekend.
